Founder of CybAdv, he is a member of the Clusit Executive Board, Team Leader of the Clusit Community for Security and a member of the ECSO CISO Community.
Professionally active since 1988 in the fields of IT security and ICT infrastructure, he specialises in cybersecurity strategy and governance; risk analysis and roadmap development; the adoption of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Critical Security Controls); personal data protection and regulatory compliance (GDPR, NIS2, DORA, Cyber Resilience Act); software security and vulnerability management; SOC & SIEM services; incident management; business continuity; supply chain risk management; and cybersecurity awareness and training programmes for senior management.
Throughout his career, he has held technical, managerial and advisory roles at leading Italian and international organisations, including S2E, where he headed the CyberSecurity Advisory & Compliance business line, as well as aizoOn, the Finmatica Group, Altran Italia, the Finmeccanica Group (Securteam and ElsagDatamat), Finsiel and Digital Equipment Corporation, gaining solid experience in ethical hacking and vulnerability assessment, secure infrastructure design (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS), incident management, computer forensics and risk analysis projects compliant with the ISO 27001 standard, serving clients in the telecoms, defence and media sectors. He is also a speaker at numerous editions of the Security Summit and the author of publications on artificial intelligence and security, IoT security and risk management.
He holds the following certifications: GIAC GSTRT (Strategic Planning, Policy and Leadership), GIAC GPPA, GIAC GCFA and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
He successfully completed postgraduate specialisation courses in ‘Data Protection & Data Governance’ and ‘Computer Forensics & Data Protection’ at the University of Milan and is currently completing an Executive Master’s in Artificial Intelligence at the Turin School of Business Administration.
