On 28 December 2024, a DDoS attack hit the websites of Malpensa and Linate airports, claimed by the pro-Russian group NoName057(16). Corrado Giustozzi, cybersecurity expert and partner at Rexilience, explained that this type of attack blocks services without compromising data, calling it ‘digital sabotage’. He emphasised the importance of investing in preventive solutions to defend against these threats.
